A multinational corporation' is a corporation or enterprise that manages production establishments or delivers services in at least two countries. Very large multinationals have budgets that exceed those of many countries.

The Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon could arguably qualify as the world's first multinational corporation.[1]
